Your news channel,
run by AI.
TrendCaster turns breaking news into scroll-stopping Instagram reels, story carousels, and real-footage video reels — researched, written, designed, scored with music, and published on your schedule. You pick the genres; it runs the channel.
Publishes to Instagram · YouTube Shorts · X / TwitterInstagram & YouTube are free with your own keys. X changed to a paid-only API — posting there needs a funded X developer account (~$0.015/post).
Any genre, your rules
Create categories — Crime India, US News, Sports, Tech, or anything custom — each with its own sources, search keywords, and editorial prompt.
Real footage, not stock
When the story's page carries actual video, your reel uses the real clip — reframed to 9:16 with a headline banner. Factual stories keep factual imagery.
Story carousels
Big stories become multi-slide carousels that read like a narrative — a distinct relevant image on every slide, ending with a question that drives comments.
Reels with matched music
Ken Burns motion cards with mood-matched background tracks — tense stories sound tense, uplifting ones sound uplifting.
Deep research & dedupe
Optionally cross-checks each story against other outlets before writing, and semantic dedupe ensures the same news never posts twice.
Fully autonomous
Per-category schedules in your timezone. Close the laptop — posts keep landing, with live run logs when you want to look.
How it works

Frequently asked questions
What is TrendCaster Studio?
TrendCaster Studio is an AI news automation tool that runs a social news channel for you. It finds breaking stories in the genres you choose, verifies and researches them, writes the copy, designs reels, carousels, or real-footage video reels, and publishes them to Instagram and YouTube Shorts on your schedule.
Which platforms does TrendCaster publish to?
Instagram (reels, multi-slide story carousels, and video reels) and YouTube Shorts — both free using your own API keys. X/Twitter is also supported, but X now sells API access on paid-only plans (roughly $0.015 per post), so enable it only if you maintain a funded X developer account.
How much does TrendCaster cost?
Everything is completely free during the beta. After beta, your first 5 published posts stay free and each post after that costs ₹5, paid with prepaid credits — no subscription, no expiry, and failed posts are never charged.
Can it cover any news genre or country?
Yes. You create categories — Crime India, US News, Sports, Tech, Business, Entertainment, or anything custom — each with its own news sources, search keywords, and editorial prompt that controls both story selection and writing style.
Does it use real news footage?
When the source article embeds actual video of the incident, TrendCaster reframes the real clip into a 9:16 reel with a headline banner. Factual stories always use the article's real images — charts, documents, incident photos — never AI-generated lookalikes.
Do I need my own API keys?
Yes — TrendCaster is bring-your-own-keys. Your Instagram, YouTube, AI, and news API keys are stored encrypted in a per-user vault, and every post goes to your own accounts, so the audience you build is entirely yours.
Can I post about a specific topic or article?
Yes. Besides scheduled category runs, you can run TrendCaster on any custom topic (it searches the live web) or paste an exact article URL, and force the format — reel or carousel — per run.
