About TrendCaster
TrendCaster Studio is an autonomous newsroom for social media. It watches the news genres you care about, picks the stories most likely to stop the scroll, verifies and researches them, writes platform-native copy, designs the media, and publishes to Instagram — on a schedule you control, or on demand.
What it actually does
Every published post goes through a full editorial pipeline:
- Find — live web search plus news APIs across your category's sources; fresh stories ranked by an AI editor tuned to your genre's voice.
- Verify — quality gates reject thin pages; semantic dedupe (vector embeddings) ensures the same story never posts twice, even from a different outlet; optional deep research cross-checks facts across outlets.
- Create — the AI chooses the right format per story: a music-scored motion reel, a multi-slide narrative carousel with a distinct relevant image per slide, or — when the article page carries real footage — a video reel built from the actual clip. Factual stories always use the article's real imagery, never lookalikes.
- Publish — straight to your accounts with captions, hashtags, and a comment-bait closing question. Full per-run logs show every source used and every decision made.
Supported platforms
- Instagram — reels, story carousels, and video reels. Free with your own Graph API keys.
- YouTube — every video post also ships as a Short (carousel stories get a companion reel). Free with your own Google OAuth credentials (~6 uploads/day within YouTube's free API quota).
- X / Twitter — fully supported in the pipeline, but X moved its API to paid-only plans (pay-per-use, roughly $0.015 per post). Enable it only if you maintain a funded X developer account.
Your keys, your channel
TrendCaster is bring-your-own-keys: your Instagram token, your AI provider key, your news API key — stored encrypted in a per-user vault. Posts go to your account; the content and audience are entirely yours.
Pricing philosophy
During beta everything is free. After beta: your first 5 posts stay free, then it's ₹5 per published post — buy credits when you need them, no subscription, and a post that fails to publish is never charged.
